CrossFit Programming Shift

As most of you know, we are big advocates for a strength based program. This doesn't mean heavy necessarily, but we need to confident in being able to move our bodies and move external weight.

We just finished up our deadlifts and bench press, and we saw some great results! If you didn't hit a new personal best, don't worry. There are many external factors that go into lifting heavy weights on single given day, so pay more attention to how you feel with those movements moving forward over the next 4-5 weeks.

For the next couple of weeks, we will stick to well-rounded workouts with the usual mix of light or moderately-heavy weights and some accessory work with no consistent program. After we reset for while though, we will jump back into a squat cycle! We will use the usual mix of eccentrics (tempo, isometrics (pauses), and normal squats but this time we plan to superset the squats with various body weight movements such as box jumps or squat jumps.

As always, our goal is to make you feel stronger, be more confident, and look even better than you already do! And obviously be as healthy as we can. We hope you know we put a lot of thought into doing just that for you.

See you guys in the gym!
